Hollowlight Expedition

Hollowlight Expedition is more about mood than challenge. You guide a lone explorer through overgrown ruins, solving gentle environmental puzzles and piecing together a story told mostly through what you see. It's slow in the best way.

Movement is tap-to-go with occasional swipe puzzles, and it never fights you. The lighting does a lot of heavy lifting — a single lamp cutting through a dark hall genuinely made me lean in. I finished it in a couple of evenings and wished it were longer.

There's no combat and no timer, which won't suit everyone. But if you like atmospheric games that let you breathe, this is a small gem worth your attention.
