Tile Tinker

Tile Tinker looks like a hundred other match games at first glance, then quietly gets smart. New mechanics — conveyor tiles, locked corners, chain reactions — arrive just as you're getting comfortable, so it never goes stale.

Each level fits in a minute or two, making it a perfect commute game. There's a hint system that isn't stingy, which I appreciate on the trickier boards. Nothing here pressures you to hurry.

It's the sort of game you open for one round and close twenty rounds later. Not groundbreaking, but genuinely well-designed and easy to recommend for puzzle fans.
